BraunAbility Chrysler Entervan XT
BraunAbility® Entervan XT
The BraunAbility® Entervan XT has been the star of the BraunAbility® model lineup since 2008. This accessible conversion is based on the same Entervan platform that has been built for over 25 years. BraunAbility® designed the XT (extra tall) van with a 14” lowered floor in place of the traditional 10” Entervan lowered floor. This allows taller individuals to use the same quality product, but with greater dimensions to meet their needs, which used to be possible only in full size vans. Simply push the Chrysler OEM key fob to activate the power door, the power ramp, and the auto kneel that lowers the rear suspension with an actuator that reduces the ramp angle. The usable door opening going through the door in the BraunAbility® Entervan XT is 56.5”, an amount of space that allows for the tallest wheelchairs to load in the XT wheelchair conversion. The Entervan XT offers a spacious interior for maneuverability and overall comfort for all passengers, including a fold down foot rest for the rear bench passengers. For individuals who may want to ride up front, the BraunAbility® Entervan XT has step and roll removable driver and passengers seats that can be removed in seconds, allowing wheelchair users to ride up front if desired.
BraunAbility® Entervan XT Quiet Drive®
The BraunAbility® Entervan XT has Quiet Drive® as a standard feature. This groundbreaking technology helps identify areas that have the excessive road noise that can be found in all lowered floor conversions except BraunAbility® wheelchair vans. This advanced acoustic technology will block out road noise in key areas such as the front firewall, sliding doors, and the new lowered floor area. If you own a minivan that is not the BraunAbility®, you are well aware of how much road noise you have.
Fully Automatic Sliding Door for Accessible Ramp XT
The wheelchair van's sliding door opens reliably at the touch of a button, allowing the wheelchair ramp to deploy on the BraunAbility® Entervan XT. This feature can be activated with the standard keychain remote, or with one of the interior control switches.
BraunAbility® Entervan XT Power Ramp System
The BraunAbility® Entervan XT has a lightweight aluminum ramp that extends to allow easy access to the interior of the van for wheelchair and scooter users. A durable, non-skid, powder-coated finish ensures superior traction, and the slotted surface helps to prevent your chair from tracking debris into your Entervan or Rampvan. In the event of a power failure, the ramp can be operated manually.
Entervan XT Auto Kneel
To ensure a safer slope for entering and exiting, the BraunAbility® Entervan XT will auto kneel on the passenger rear suspension as the door opens and the ramp deploys. The kneeling actuator is built into the vehicle to make for easier serviceability and to keep the actuator safe from the weather outside.
BraunAbility® Entervan XT Lowered Floor
Lowering the floor 14” from the conventional minivan floor gives the BraunAbility® Entervan XT industry leading head clearance through the door at 56.5”. Completing this just forward of the rear axle to the front firewall allows for multiple seating positions. Tie down points in multiple areas allow wheelchair users to sit in their chairs and enjoy the view.
Removable Seating in the BraunAbility® Entervan XT
In just seconds, the driver and passenger seats can be removed. This is simple with the Entervan XT step and roll seating: simply unlock the seat base and roll it out of the wheelchair van. This allows wheelchair users to ride up front in the passenger area or pull up behind the steering wheel and drive when properly equipped.
